As one of the Black Country’s most popular meeting venues, NMC Venue delivers friendly service and competitive rates.
The venue, which is owned by the Confederation of British Metalformers, approached us to conduct a marketing workshop and training for its team – with the ultimate aim of securing bookings from new clients.
After analysing the organisation’s website and social strategy, we put together a schedule for a workshop and training day with NMC Venue’s marketing team.
During the workshop, we delved into the organisation’s target audience, defining personas and pinpointing their goals and objectives to help focus messaging and marketing activity. In addition, we identified the value that NMC Venue delivered to attendees in terms of service and approach. From there, we were able to conduct a wholesale review and analysis of their marketing activity, making recommendations across every area.
For example, to increase the effectiveness of the venue’s website, we recommended updating the copy to include customer-centric messages. In addition, we advised on strategies to increase social engagement across Twitter and LinkedIn, and suggested other tactics to spread awareness among local businesses.
We drafted new web copy and collateral for the organisation’s website, ensuring that it communicated key benefits in an audience-centric way. The venue subsequently contacted us to create direct mail targeting local businesses.
NMC Venue has since enquiries from new clients, helping it diversify its customer base and broaden its reach in the local area.
